Porcelain Care and Your Delivery: An Arrival Checklist
Inspect your porcelain and the included pieces when it arrives. Keep the packaging while checking the order, follow any product-specific care information, and contact us within 7 days after delivery if you need to request help with a product-related problem.
Check the parcel and the pieces
- Look at the outer packaging. If it appears damaged, photograph the parcel and shipping label before discarding anything.
- Unpack on a stable surface. Lift out pieces individually and keep lids separate while checking them.
- Compare the contents with your order. Use the named product and included-piece description. Objects used for styling are not automatically part of a purchase.
- Inspect visible condition. Look at the rim, body, lid and foot, and compare any disclosed condition notes. Do not use a damaged piece while the issue is being reviewed.
- Keep your order number. It helps us identify the exact product and shipment when you contact support.
What to send if there is a problem
Email support@artisanoria.com with your order number and a description of the problem within 7 days after delivery. Where available, attach clear photographs of the item, packaging and label. Keep the packaging while we review the issue.
For confirmed product-related problems, we cover the associated return shipping and support replacement. Contact us before buying return postage so we can agree on the method and cost. The return address is provided after your request; the sender address on the original parcel may not be the return destination.
We normally process an approved refund within 24 hours of approval through the original payment method. This describes our processing time. Your payment provider determines when the funds appear in your account. Read the full returns and breakage policy for the current terms.
Handle porcelain gently
Use a stable surface and avoid sudden changes in temperature. Keep pieces from knocking against one another, especially at rims, lid edges and handles. When moving a coordinated arrangement, lift the pieces individually instead of assuming that a tray will secure everything.
Hot water and steam can heat a bowl and lid. If you are new to a gaiwan, practise the grip and pouring movement with cool water before handling hot tea. Do not use a cracked or broken vessel.
Care information we can and cannot confirm
Dishwasher and microwave suitability have not been confirmed for these pieces. Do not treat a photograph, decoration label or the word “porcelain” as a product-specific appliance rating. Check the individual listing and contact us when you need a confirmed answer.
Food-contact test reports are not currently available for these listings. We therefore do not claim a particular food-contact certification, lead-free test result or laboratory approval. Where documented suitability is important to your intended use, ask for the product-specific evidence before deciding.
Keep useful information with your order
Save the product number, listed capacity, included pieces and any condition notes. Similar motifs can appear on different listings, so a name alone may not identify the exact vessel. Our product galleries allow you to compare several angles before purchase.
Orders ship from Jingdezhen, Jiangxi, China. Preparation takes up to 3 days after payment confirmation; transit to the United States is approximately 10 days after dispatch.
